The preferential orientation of the packing, resulting in most of the metal cascade-mini ring surface being positioned efficiency. Vertically in the tower rather than horizontally, is also advantageous for mass transfer. It is very important that as much of the available surface area as possible be effectively wetted. The underside of any horizontal surface in the packed bed is shielded from the liquid trickling down and is therefore not effectively wetted.                                               By definition, these dry surfaces take no part in the mass transfer process and are lost. How can we extend the usage of RTO blocks to avoid to be damaged?

How can we extend the usage of RTO blocks  to avoid  to be damaged?  You can do like followings: 1.Try to put the blocks in order when you install the block; 2. Keep expansion gap every 1 centimeter per 1meter evenly distributed when place the blocks; 3. The speed of temperature rise and fall should not be too fast, otherwise it will easily cause cracking in the regenerator product. Within 300°C, the heating rate is ≦ 30°C/h, which mainly excludes adsorbed water; when the temperature is 300-600°C, the rate of temperature rise and fall is 60°C/h, and when the temperature is higher than 600°C, the rate of temperature rise is ≦ 120°C/h; when the temperature is lowered, the temperature is lowered.
